Spam Comments on {makeupfu}

Like all sites, {makeupfu} gets its fair share of spam comments. Most of them are caught by various WordPress plugins like Akismet, so they don’t usually get posted to the site. A few sneaky ones do manage to get published.

I’ve compiled some of the recent comments that me lawlz. I always spend a little time reading through the spam I receive. These spamming bots obviously collect snippets of comments from various sources to parse them into some randomly funny comments. Sometimes they even seem legitimate…until you keep reading.

And while I was deleting the spam comments, my website crashed (it’s a database table thing) like it always does. And that is why I rarely delete my spam. I want to make sure I haven’t deleted any legitimate comments, so I like to go through the spam instead of trashing them at once.
