Soho Disney Villains Makeup Bags {Review}

I had already bought all of the e.l.f. Disney Villains Look Books I wanted when I found out Walgreens was going to have a Fantasy Makers/Disney Villains 25% off sale last week.

That was kind of a bummer. I instead decided to purchase a couple of the Disney Villains makeup bags. They have a MSRP of $10 USD, which made them $7.50 during the sale.

While my favorite Disney villain hands down is Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, I haven’t been enamored of her artwork this year. I also didn’t like her little makeup bag paired with the large clear one.

I went with the Ursula and Cruella de Vil bags. It’s kind of odd because I don’t really care for either of those characters, but I am really drawn to their artwork. Actually, all of the Ursula Walgreens Disney Villains products are really well done.

Cruella de Vil Train Case

Rating: 5/5 stars ★★★★★
Price: $7.50 USD (regularly $10)
Where to Buy: Discontinued

This train case features a watercolor painting of Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians on both sides of the bag. Along with Cruella, the painting also has flowers, what I presume is the London skyline, and dalmatian spots.

The accent parts are constructed from a purple/teal duochrome vinyl. The inside lining is red and features one of the dalmatian puppies. There is also a pocket on the inside.

Ursula Weekender Bag

Rating: 5/5 stars ★★★★★
Price: $7.50 USD (regularly $10)
Where to Buy: Discontinued

The weekender bag features a watercolor painting of Ursula from The Little Mermaid on both sides. The painting also has butterflies or lace (not really sure) and Ursula’s tentacles.

The Flotsam and Jetsam lining of the Ursula Weekender Bag

The accent parts are constructed from the same purple/teal duochrome vinyl, like the Cruella bag. The inside lining is plum and features Flotsam and Jetsam (Ursula’s equally evil eels).

You can’t see them in the photos because I pushed them inside the case because they were in the way, but the bag also has two handles made from the duochrome vinyl.

Final Thoughts

Pros: Beautiful watercolor designs, economically priced, well crafted
Cons: Ursula’s design could be more rounded out

I really dig these Disney Villains makeup bags. This year’s watercolor designs were really beautiful and the bags themselves are well crafted. I can’t wait to see next year’s designs.
