New Wet n Wild 2014 Products Take Two {Spotted}

New Wet n Wild 2014 Products Take Two {Spotted}

Full display for the new permanent WNW collection.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I visited my local Walgreens a few days ago in search of the new Wet n Wild products. Besides spotting some LE Disney Villains products on clearance, I also found two full displays featuring the new Fergie and Wet n Wild releases.

This is a follow-up to a previous post.

New Fergie Centerstage Products

The new Fergie display was right at the front of my store. There didn’t seem to be a whole lot of difference from the Fergie display back in October—but then again, I didn’t look too closely because I know the eyeshadow and shimmer palettes aren’t vegan. While there weren’t dollar off coupons attached to the products themselves, there were coupons attached to the display for $1 off all Fergie products.

The Fergie Shimmer Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer is back. I’m not sure if this will be an addition to the regular line or continue to be an LE item. In any case, it contains carmine (I checked again) and therefore not suitable for vegans (read my earlier post on the subject).

I did pick up the Fergie Take on the Day Mattifying Powder in Pedestal, which retails for $4.99. Since it’s a new (or LE) product, it’s not on the Wet n Wild vegan list, but I took a chance since the ingredients looked okay.

Ingredients for the Mattifying Powder:

Silica, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Ethyl Macadamiate, Glycerin, Polysorbate 80, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Chondrus Crispus [seaweed], Methylisothiazolinone, Xanthan Gum, Titanium Dioxide/Cl77891

Please note that the Mattifying Powder contains macadamia seed extracts.

Wet n Wild 2014 New Products

I didn’t locate the full 2014 Wet n Wild display until I found the clearanced Disney Villains products since it was stuck on the end of the adjacent aisle at the back of the store. Walgreens tends to set up their displays randomly, so make sure to check the store thoroughly. Most of the new products have dollar off coupons attached.

As always, there was a ton of nail polishes. I finally found the Matte and Base Coat (I thought it was supposed to be a base and top coat?) Wild Shine polishes. Both are $0.99, while the MegaRocks polishes are $2.99.

I also found a couple of the new eyeshadow singles (Cheeky, Unchained, and Suede). Unfortunately, since the new shadows share the same labels as before, I’m not sure if any are vegan. However, I’m thinking the only one that could possible be vegan is the silver; I have my doubts on the fuchsia and blue. Hopefully Wet n Wild will update their vegan list soon (or go here to read my more accurate list).

Also, the new Coloricon Glitter Singles ($0.99) were all out of stock, so I still don’t know if any of those are vegan.

I realize now that I still did not see the MegaClear Clear Mascara. I kind of have my doubts about it since most of the WNW mascaras are not vegan. Then again, it is clear, so maybe that means no beeswax?
