New e.l.f. and Wet n Wild products spotted at Dollar Tree.

Local Dollar Tree cosmetics display.

On my latest trip to Dollar Tree, I spotted a few new vegan-friendly, and of course cruelty-free, products from e.l.f. and Wet n Wild.

e.l.f. Cosmetics

I’ve forgotten to post about this earlier, but there were a bunch of e.l.f. Studio HD Blushes in the shade Showstopper. They were still tossed haphazardly in a plastic bin on the bottom shelf in the cosmetics section. Normally the Studio HD blushes retail for $3 USD. You may have seen this cream blush spotted at DT all over Instagram and YouTube the past couple of months, but they are a very recent addition to my Dollar Tree store. Still waiting for the Mineral Eyeshadow Primers to pop up at DT…

Here’s my earlier review on the product.

HD Blush in the shade Showstopper

I found a whole lot of the Essential EX-tra Lip Gloss in the shade Marc. That was the only color I found. e.l.f. usually sells the glosses for $2 USD each. You can read my review on the EX-tra Lip Glosses, including this shade, here.

The last e.l.f. product I spotted was the Essential Flawless Eyeshadow Palette in Sea Escape. These are normally $2 USD each. I would have purchased this palette except 1). I haven’t been impressed with the pigmentation and formulation of the other palettes I own (I have four altogether) and 2). I’m never going to wear these blue shadows. I may have grey-blue eyes, but blues just don’t look right on my warm skin tone. And how many people really wear blue eyeshadow? I’ll mention that I was scarred by growing up in the eighties.

Wet n Wild

I thought I got a better shot of the Wet n Wild ColorIcon Eye Shadow Single, but apparently not. I believe this is the shade Cheeky, a pink color, and it looked vegan friendly. Just an FYI, these single eyeshadows are usually $0.99 at drugstores like CVS and Walgreens, or even WnW’s own website, so there’s no discount.

So not a whole lot of new products, but it’s always fun to see new finds at Dollar Tree!
