Target Makeup Clearance Going on Now
Last weekend on the way back from Chicago, we stopped at a Target and I, of course, had to check the makeup section. There were tons of vegan stuff on clearance. I’m looking forward to seeing what replaces the old products. I would have taken photos, but I had been charging my phone and accidentally left it in the car.
I congratulated myself on not buying anything, only to promptly regret not buying anything…
Lots of stuff on clearance. The custom compacts and individual eyeshadows were $0.80 each.
The Studio Baked Eyeshadow shade in Dusk was on clearance (don’t remember the price).
Most notably, all of the Essential Jumbo Eyeshadow Sticks were on clearance. Someone at Target must have finally figured out that they totally suck. I’m hoping they are replaced with the newly released Smudge Pots, but it’s more likely to be the Loose Eyeshadows.
I think there were other products, so check your Targets.
There were a couple of products from Pacifica on clearance, too.
Two shades of the Color Quench Lip Tint were being discontinued— . I only remember one shade being on clearance at my local Target, so double check your store/s.
It also appears that all of the roll on perfumes are being discontinued.
This is a company I’ve only recently checked out. I just kind of assumed it wasn’t okay for some reason, but after seeing a ton of products on clearance for half off, I decided to double check around the Internets.
Pixi is a cruelty-free line that seems to be very vegan friendly. When I say “vegan friendly” I don’t mean the products are exclusively vegan, but rather that there are lots of vegan options&mdas;and the ingredients listings are simple, making the non-vegan ingredients easy to spot. A few of the clearanced products contained beeswax, lanolin, and carmine..
Pixi is on the higher end, but most of the clearanced products were around $6-$12.
The end cap display was picked over, but I found the following products on clearance: How-To Bronze, CoverToxTen50 Wrinkle Thereapy Face Powder, and pHmatchmaker (I thought it was powder, but I guess I must have seen the bronzer version). There are probably other products on clearance, so check your local stores.
As a reminder, please know that some Physicians Formula products may contain brushes with natural fibers.
